By creating an account or using Emit Vision (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
Emit Vision provides hosted developer telemetry infrastructure: custom event ingestion, error tracking, feature-flag evaluation, session context, and related dashboard and API surfaces. The Service is currently in early-access beta. Features, limits, and pricing are subject to change with reasonable notice.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and session credentials. You must notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
You agree to use the Service in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, do not send regulated personal data (health records, payment card data) unless you have a separate written agreement with us covering that data.
Self-serve billing is not yet active. During early access, plan upgrades are handled manually by the operator team. We will provide reasonable notice before charging begins. The Hobby plan is free while it remains available. We reserve the right to change plan limits and pricing with 30 days’ notice once general availability launches.
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. For customers whose telemetry payloads may contain personal data about their end users, Emit Vision acts as a data processor on your behalf. Contact us to discuss a Data Processing Agreement.
We may modify or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to give advance notice for material changes. We may suspend access immediately for violations of these Terms or to protect the integrity of the Service.
Emit Vision retains all rights in the Service, its code, and its trademarks. You retain all rights in the telemetry data and source maps you send. By using the Service you grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide and improve the Service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR $100 IF YOU HAVE PAID NOTHING).
[Jurisdiction to be confirmed with counsel before public launch.] These Terms will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Emit Vision is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
You may not use the Service if you are located in a country subject to applicable trade sanctions or export restrictions, or if you are on any restricted-party list. You represent that your use complies with all applicable export control laws and regulations.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by posting the new version here and, for material changes, by email. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
